Φίλοι, Έλληνες συναγωνιστές, λάβαμε το ακόλουθο ηλ.τα. και θεωρούμε υποχρέωσή μας να το διαδώσουμε. Ας στείλουμε λοιπόν ο καθένας μία εκ των ακόλουθων επιστολών, είναι απλό και αν η διαμαρτυρίας μας γίνει μαζικά θα υπάρξουν θετικά αποτελέσματα:
1) Πηγαίνουμε στην σελίδα του ιστοτόπου: Contact Us
2) Επιλέγουμε από την πρώτη αναδιπλούμενη λίστα το "incorrect information"
3) Στο πεδίο που θα εμφανιστεί συμπληρώνουμε ότι απαιτείται και το αποστέλλουμε.
Μετά λύπης μου διαπίστωσα την υποδήλωση "Μακεδονικής Γλώσσας" στο Dictionary.com, ένα από τα καλύτερα διαδυκτιακά λεξικά...
Αποφάσισα να τους στείλω το παρακάτω μήνυμα...
Παρακαλώ όλους όσοι έχετε Ελληνικό αίμα στις φλέβες σας να πράξετε το ίδιο. Η γνώμη σας θα ληφθεί υπόψην αν γίνει μαζικά και με τρόπο που να δείχνει αποφασιστικότητα.
There is NO "Macedonian language" in the form you present it. There is a Macedonian dialect of Greek speaking people living in Macedonia province,Greece. What you claim to be "Macedonian" is Slav (Serbian) and you are getting in the middle of a political issue. Please check out your information. The Greek users will soon realize your mistake and there might be a legal conflict. I really believe that you have one of the best on-line dictionaries. It would be wrong on your behalf to get involved in political issues -or Skopian propaganda..

Στη συνέχεια μη μπορώντας να κοιμηθώ από τον θυμό , χρησιμοποίησα και κάποιες άλλες πληροφορίες από κάποιο φίλο και έστειλα στον διευθυντή του Dictionary.com το ακόλουθο μήνυμα:

I would like to congratulate you for Dictionary.com , it's amazing! But unfortunately you have made a big mistake.
There is NO "Macedonian language" in the form you present it. There is a Macedonian dialect of Greek speaking people living in Macedonia province,Greece. What you claim to be "Macedonian" is Slav (Serbian). The so-called "Macedonian language" is a western dialect of Bulgarian with some Serbian orthographic features. It was only codified in the 1950s by an American Slavicist Horace Lunt on behalf of Tito's regime. Fact - there has never been a Bulgarian-Macedonian Dictionary or Macedonian-Bulgarian Dictionary published. It would prove that the language is a fabrication.
I believe you are getting in the middle of a political issue by mistake and not by intention. Please check out your information. The millions of Greek users will soon realize your mistake and there might be a legal conflict. I really believe that you have one of the best on-line dictionaries.
